Two Choos!

Choo Choo! All aboard!

MC rode like this most of the time...never moving.

Yeah, maybe I should have cropped out the top part of this photo :)

"This cake is good! I can even do it left handed!"

What's up with throwing up??? MC has vomited twice in the past few days. She's not sick - but still has a very sensitive gag reflex. I thought we were past all that...obviously not! She gagged on green beans (not surprising though) and this time it was chicken! She LOVES chicken! All in the car seat!!! I absolutely give up. I guess she's living on crackers forever. I know everyone is SO tired of hearing about our food issues and such. So! On a better note, just wanted to post some pics from Jack's party. He turned 2 and had a train take everyone up and down the street! It was so much fun! MC even warmed up to it after the first ride. And she loved the cake! Great party!

Line 'Em Up

Okay, so she's not totally all girl. Although technically she's not sitting in the dirt. I think we are going to set up a tent in the backyard so she can live AHSIDE! She throws a fit when we have to come inside...even to rehydrate! She is OBSESSED. Speaking of obsessed...line 'em up!:

The letters M and W aren't qualified to be on the wall. Maybe because, to her, the alphabet ends with the letter G. She becomes irate if you try to tell her otherwise. I've tried to videotape her singing the alphabet, but of course she stops every time she sees the camera.

I will post pics from Jack's birthday party later. We had a great time, Carly! Speaking of lining them up, we have 4 birthdays, a wedding, and a wedding shower all coming up. I'm exhausted already. Happy Birthday JACK!

Time flies when you're busy...I can't believe I haven't posted in a week! Sorry no new pics. After the Egg Hunt last weekend, we took a family trip to Tennessee to visit my family even more! MC enjoyed herself a little too much. So much in fact that she jumped off the trampoline straight into her terrible two's! I can't count the number of temper tantrums in the last week. 'No' seems to be her favorite word among the others:

foof = food

cacka = cracker

shish = fish

pees = please

Boppy = Poppy

Kenny = Kennedy

pahi = potty

and the most important:
poo poo = well, we all know what that means!

We went to Wasabi's (Japanese Hibachi Grill) and MC LOOOOVED it! I guess everything is better when you have sweet tea in your sippie cup! Yep...definitely a Miley.

Easter 2009

Group picture (oops minus Cole)

Happy Easter! What a wonderful weekend! The weather was beautiful! MC has had Gigi, Aunt Heather, Kerigan, and "Kenny" here to play with her. The Easter egg hunt was so much fun despite a friendly visit NOT from the Easter bunny but from a neighborhood snake! Ha! I bet no one will ever come to an egg hunt here again! Next time we will be sure to check the fresh pinestraw before chocolate-covered fingers are picking through it! I am so sorry and embarrassed about our lovely rodents around here! Luckily he went on his way to the pond without any further disruptances. We had a total of 15 kids come to the egg hunt and they had a blast! Mati Claire was the only one who threw a tantrum (but was also in dire need of a nap). We hunted eggs, ate carrot cake and candy, wore bunny ears, and caught ducks in the hot tub! Thank you Mom and Heather for helping to put the party together. They did a great job decorating. My nieces indirectly reminded me that I have to live up to the title of Easter bunny next year. I got lucky again this year because MC doesn't understand it yet. Boiling and dyeing eggs??? Huh? Whoa. I better start now.

Yummy carrot cake in the shape of a carrot!

It's getting worse

Every time I turn around or walk in a different room, there is something lined up for me! I walked into the pantry and was in shock. What 2 year old actually organizes the water bottles??? Her puzzle pieces, toys, and crayons! It's hilarious. She is such a big girl wanting to eat corn-on-the-cob like her Mommy and Daddy! Man did she catch on quick when it comes to not getting her hands dirty! That's my girl!
Just getting ready for the big Easter Egg Hunt this weekend! This will be MC's FIRST egg hunt and we're so excited!

Mini-Miranda?

We may have a mini-"Ray" on our hands. We needed to get out of the house the other day, so I figured we could still technically be "ahside" if we went to Dogwood. Literally going down the row from store to store...MC just fussed and whined. Belk's? fussy. Victoria's Secret? fussy. Gap? fussy. Ann Taylor? fussy. Gymboree? crackers make it a little better...but still fussy. Borders bookstore? aaahhhh! oooohhhh! this is the greatest place on earth! Hm. Is there a genetic link to the love of books? Not one whimper out of her.

She also inherited my OCD'ness. Or maybe she's just a girly-girl. She REFUSES to use a broken crayon. She'll bring it to me and give me the look as in "trash mommy...this one broke." Then came the white crayon. She brings it to me EVERY time she comes across it... apparently it doesn't work either. HA! Those crazy crayons! Oh, help me, Lord! Everything must line up perfectly whether its crayons, peas, blocks, you name it! And if it doesn't...then throw it out!

I am reading Twilight for the SECOND time. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?????? Don't tell Matt ok? ;)
